16 Track Digital Recorder and USB Control Surface
The Zoom HD16CD is a 16-track digital multi-track recorder and a MIDI control surface that can be used with the included software to mix and master your tracks in your computer. The HD16 allows you to record 8 tracks live, with each track having 10 virtual tracks for alternate takes.
With a large, 80GB hard disk, the HD16 provides about 240 hours of recording time using 16-bit/44.1 kHz sampling in WAV format.
The Zoom HD16 also has a built in drum and bass rhythm track sequencer with over 500 percussion sounds and eleven bass sounds. These samples are arranged in 475 preset rhythm patterns in various styles including rock, pop, jazz, funk and more. By using the onboard sampler, you can easily create your own sounds and patterns for limitless variations.
