1965 Slingerland vintage floor tom: SOLD

This drum, a 14” x 14” floor tom, is by all indications a Slingerland. The silver sparkle is original as are the lugs, tension rods, tone control and hoops. A previous owner installed Ludwig legs and mounts. The leg mounts are shorter than the original Slingerland bracket mount, so the holes for the original mount can be seen (barely) below the Ludwig mounts.
The shell is maple, poplar, mahogany with maple reinforced rings. The Bering edges are in great shape, as is the drum. A little steel wool on the chrome parts and this drum will look like new.
Oddly enough, there is no vent hole or evidence of a badge, but all signs indicate it is a Slingerland.
