QSC 80S-282 in outdoor install
The town square in beautiful Medina Ohio has a brand new outdoor PA system installation courtesy of Woodsy’s Music. The gazebo on the square is a popular spot for community gatherings and performances and needed a user friendly audio system with appropriate power and coverage for these events.
The goal was accomplished using four white QSC Audio speakers (80S-282) placed around the rim of the gazebo roof giving 360 degree coverage. Two of the locations also have a small monitor foldback speaker pointed inward. Available inputs at the gazebo are one XLR mic level and one 1/4″ line level allowing you to plug a microphone or music source straight into the system or use a separate mixer to interface multiple input sources. The gazebo actually has a basement under it, which houses the amp rack and electronics.
The result is a system with plenty of volume that is very unobtrusive. Most folks probably won’t notice it until it’s turned on.
