Cole Clark Guitars has done something that’s not easy in the world of acoustic guitars. They have been truly innovative. From the choice of woods to the electronics to construction principles to the overall look, this is not your average acoustic/electric guitar.
Your choice of woods includes indigenous Australia tone woods Bunya and Queensland Maple, as well as traditional spruce. The guitar at right is the Angel series small body with Bunya top and maple back and sides. All solid wood. The dreadnought series from Cole Clark Guitars are called the Fat Lady.
The pickup system incorporates six individual pickups clamped under the bridge. In addition to that, you have what is called is called the Face Brace Sensor (patent pending). This is a long pickup sensor that is applied to the top of the guitar and also serves as part of the bracing. The brace is the pickup. But wait, there’s more. The second slide pot on your electronics changes which pickup amplifies the high end. You actually change the crossover point between the bridge sensors and the Face Brace! Like we said, not your average acoustic/electric.
The end result of all this is a great looking instrument built with light weight, resonant tone woods and a pickup system that will render an incredibly natural tone. Stop in and check out Cole Clark Guitars.
